Formal Introduction
Hello again. I know I've already posted a short introduction, but since my blog is now live I thought it would be a great idea to post an actual introduction.
My name is Zac Tenneboe, and I'm a second generation magician. My father introduced me to magic when I was only four years old. He was performing a show and invited me on stage to assist with a magic effect. As I grew older I got more and more involved in his shows, and then eventually I started performing on my own. I remember performing my first show, it was for a birthday party, and I was 7 years old.
It's a great honor being a second generation magician, in fact only about a dozen or so have been documented. Some of them are - The Blackstone's, The Willards, and Lee Asher & his father. To be apart of something so rare is a great privilege.
Now at age 23, I specialize in Mentalism & Hypnosis. Even though I'm a stage performer, I also enjoy performing in a close up enviornment as well. Having the mystery happen in the spectator's hands, and seeing the sparkle of astonishment on their face is a moment to treasure.
In addition to being a magician, I also have a driving passion for film. In 2011 I graduated from Minnesota School of Business with a degree in Digital Video & Media Production. When I'm not focusing on my magic I'm editing video.
What to expect from this blog?
This blog's main focus will be centered around magic, mentalism, and hypnosis. I'll post blogs about upcoming performances, when I'm on the road, what it's like to be an entertainer, and what it was like growing up as a second generation magician. I also plan on giving back, and will post blogs teaching simple magic tricks. Most wont have the luxury of having a father as a magician, and for the people who are interested in magic I want to provide valuable resources and techniques to them.
In addition to blogging about magic, occasionally I plan on posting about technology. I'm a huge Apple geek, and a dedicated Googler. I enjoy following all the trends and will share my journey along with you.
